Yesterday, Jodie Isitt (author of Autism With Lola) and I were due to go live to talk about the details of an exciting project we have been working on, but due to unforeseen difficulties we were unable to do this.
We were both gutted as we have been working towards this deadline for quite some time.
With both of us being the primary caregivers in multiplex families (with an arrangement of needs) this does tend to happen and we are pretty resilient at finding new ways to make alternative plans.
So here I am, with a written post on the blog in the meantime, to share some of the main points we hoped to chat about together and we will postpone our live for a later date.

Today we can finally reveal the front cover of the much anticipated book Black Rainbow that we hope will give a fictionalised insight into the world of PDA and ADHD.
In order to get published we have devised a kickstarter which we will be launching sometime between now and next January with some exciting rewards for anyone who pledges behind the launch. A kickstarter is a great way for me to raise the money to self publish my book.

Jodie and I have been putting our heads together to devise a unique parenting programme that will go alongside the book and will be aptly titled:
The Nurturing PDA Parenting Programme.
This will be a bespoke course that will run alongside the novel and feature specific learning experiences from the book. We aim to also have a limited numbers in a book club too and many other perks for those who pledge money behind the kickstarter.
The cover has been designed by the talented Mandi Paterson at Kaleidoscope Skies and we were all very pleased with the final cover.
