Yesterday we posted about some of the reviews that had been incoming for our debut novel Black Rainbow and it looks like it had a huge impact on promoting the book further.
I made an update about this on Facebook and Instagram and the buzz kept building which was incredible.
To wake up this morning and to see that we are actually in the number one spot for ‘Amazon’s Hot New Releases’ on their Disability Fiction list is nothing short of amazing. You see this means that the book might get shown to a much a wider audience and by doing this it has the chance of getting PDA introduced into a mainstream arena. It then has the potential of changing opinions about what it might mean to parent in a different way and it could help more families by doing this.
I also have to add that self-publishing a book means that we have to do the marketing side ourselves and this has been where you guys have really helped out.
I can honestly say this would not have been possible without the people we have behind us in this community because it has been you guys liking, commenting and sharing on all of our posts. It has been so many of you here who have been helping in the background – we have had some lovely volunteers in our private launch group for the last year who have been helping with research and giving me their opinions.

Our biggest tool of getting this book noticed is by leaving a review for us under the book on Amazon and it may just help to share the word even more. You can do this as verified if you’ve bought through them or unverified if you bought from us directly and if we have gifted you a copy.
